Covid 19 - Round 7 - Keep calm and don’t go to the butcher

Nah.

This is a new thread. Spring is in the air. A new beginning.

I reckon old mate and the other Commanders of the Wrong Patrol are going to come in here and be contrite. Admit they were mistaken about how bad the virus was. They will say that all human life is important and that we should band together, as a compassionate society, and do whatever we can to save the most vulnerable members of our community and in doing do, get the economy back on track as soon as possible.

TBF to them, you comment mostly about them as much as they carry on. Maybe give it a rest for a bit? Just put them on ignore and forget about them.

Its working for me.
It would be even better if everyone else ignored them as well instead of passing comment in frustration (though I totally get this).

We should agree on a posting quota on this thread of 3 posts per poster per day maximum. If you go over you get put in quarantine without the fringe benefits.

Excellent advice sir!

Oh how I wish I was getting any fringe benefits in my house.

You’ve used up two of your three posts for the day, @Hoffy!

(OK, maybe we allow you a communications specialist exemption.)

Genuine question, does this post count as one of my three posts?

Hoffy is uncapped.

In any case, great to see testing numbers up. I’d hazard that 0.32% is the lowest positive/test ratio we’ve had in a long time.

Dan says…

The notion that we can open up and then close down again, and accept high numbers, is just a fallacy. Not only in the death rate but those needing urgent care in hospital would be compromised due to an over run health care setting.

Thanks to everyone who has been engaging with the government about preparing the roadmap. Unions, industries, everyone.

Batman has COVID. Didn’t see that coming…
