Healthy run-rate here. Need to try and bowl tighter lines. Wouldnât be surprised if Lyon comes on very shortly, he gets good bounce and the WACA pitch will help in that regard.

Going by what I am reading, it sounds like it is a road.

Fuller length gets the nick. Can get too carried away with bounce on a pacy track but you can afford to be fuller because of that bounce. Use the short ball as a shock delivery rather than it being a stock ball, then nick off from length. Root is a hard handed pusher at the ball and likes to drive on the up and force off the back foot. I can see him giving a chance very early.

Didnât quite look like it was there to cover drive.
Definitely not a roadâŚyetâŚbut you get absolute top value for your shots if the ball pierces the infield.
