These Nine promo ads are going to make watching a little difficult.
Reminds me why cricket is the only thing I watch on it.

That win/loss ratio they just showedā€¦no-one has lost more than theyā€™ve won?
Sri Lanka werenā€™t on the list.
Are they just touring the world losing 0-5 every series?

YAY!!!

Woakes is an opening bowler in ODIs? Goodness gracious.

Warner to play the anchor roleā€¦

Just to get it all off my chest at once:
Are those England jumpers pink for any reason, or is that just a national colour for them now?
Why is it so hard to pick the right shade of yellow for Australian uniforms?
The graphics for score, etc looks like the XP era Windows Media Player

Booooooo.

Whatā€™s wrong with Australiaā€™s yellow?
I think their green is a little dullā€¦

Itā€™s just that thereā€™s an official Australian gold colour, and thatā€™s not it. Iā€™m not benzina-sash levels of worked up about it or anything though.

Itā€™s definitely better than when the uniforms had actual metallic gold on them though, thatā€™s for sure.

Also, Iā€™d like to correct my previous thought on the graphics. They actually look like a winamp skin.

I appreciate the winamp nostalgia.
Agree on the dislike of the metallic gold.
Iā€™m still not feeling you though.
The yellow seems the traditional 70s/80s colour to me.

Yeah thatā€™s fair.

Lol.
Was that Smith with the, ā€œOoh, yaā€¦ā€

Ooooh, that was ugly.

You donā€™t see those inside edged very often.

shakes head
So many four balls butchered, then tries toā€¦what, cut? Cover drive? An inch outside off stump on the up.

ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  hell.
Thereā€™s no-one at deep square leg and theyā€™re piddling around like thatā€¦

I donā€™t mean to sound overly negative, butā€¦
Ooooh, that kept lowā€¦
Where was I?

Right, I feel like with 20/20 there should be some sort of continuous improvement with ODIā€™s.
I havenā€™t seen Australia play one of these in ages, unfortunately, but what strikes me is that current Australian batsmen have real trouble turning the strike over.
And thereā€™s plenty of singles and twos at the MCG.

Donā€™t get me wrong, I like the big shots, earlier.

I feel like the batting should be markedly better than it was ten, fifteen years ago.
And I donā€™t think it is.

Edit: Also, I think the English bowling is farking rubbish.

I mean thereā€™s no square leg to Ali or Woakes.
If you canā€™t turn an off-spinner or medium-pacer off your hipā€¦
ā€¦come on.

Edit: Lol. Just like he did then. A metre from the fielder and thereā€™s a run every time.
