Finch was better in t20s batting at 4, with maxwell at 3.

It’d also give Lynn and Short a chance to play their more natural positions/styles imo

Wouldn’t wickets in hand at the end of the 17th over (reduced match now) have scaled the score further up? Dumb shot

Depends if both teams get the same number of overs or not, it generally effects the team batting 2nd more though.

Finch opens or doesn’t play at all imo, short is only keeping warners spot warm.
Lynn at 3 and Big show 4 is perfect.

He was good at 4 in t20s last summer, can play spin well, can play slow and fast, can rebuild early and clear the rope at the end of the innings.

Agree about Short/Warner though, however I’d rather Warner and Smith focussed on the longer forms more, particularly on finding their ODI form.

Need to stop picking West Australians in the national team.

Dhawan just plays his natural game, our batters seem to try and invent shots

To be fair they have been dominant in the shorter forms for a few years.

And it sure beats NSWmen getting picked.

Only in the BBL and they have a couple of good imports.
ODD has been Vics most of the time as has the shield

Lol, now we have 2 West Australians bowling the last 4 overs.
India needed 60 off the last 4

Tye goes for 25 off his one (after conceding 12 on his only previous over)

Stoinis so far 7 off 3 balls.

Maxwell not given a bowl??

That West Australian that has taken the most wickets in this format for the year.

Doesn’t look like Tye tricks too many with the knuckleball at this level.

And the other West Australian that plays for Melbourne stars…

At nearly 9 an over.

Sorry, didn’t hear you over him getting hit for another 4.

29 off his 7 balls in the death so far

Plays for about 4 T20 teams. It’s his native state that lets him down
