Any chance we might get a run sometime soon?
FMD, this is abysmal.
Indiaās part-time spinners are better than our frontline ones
Both of these two are just letting the Indian bowlers - including part-timers - dictate to them, they have no intent to score off good balls and are just waiting for bad balls - which arenāt coming often.
Khawaja has negative intensity, zero presence.
Finch is pathetic. Literally cannot play any ball aimed at the stumps or swinging in.
Neither of them are particularly fast scorers in ODIās. It is why I say you can only have one of them out there. The coach should have sent somone else in, say Maxwell, who bats with intent, while Smarsh or Usman can hold up the other end to stabilise the innings.
And what is it about these Indian bowlers and their, letās say, unique actions?
This Yadhav basically throws it sidearm style.
His sidearm is ugly but legal (and effective). Not so sure about his spinning delivery with the high arm action though.
Smarsh gonski
How the frig do you miss that?
Lol get farked, two pie chuckers get both set batsmen in the space of an over. We are trash.
Agreed, we only have a few āfastā starters in our lineup and they are batting at 5 and 7. Ideally, youād have 2 out of your first 4 batsmen who score at 6rpo from when they walk in (Warner/Smith), 1 who is a bit faster and puts the bowlers on the back foot (Short?) and 1 who starts slower but is reliable and will pick up speed (Marsh).
Even Finch tends to start slowly, unless he gets pies.
At least with Marsh you know he will make it back up the longer he bats, as he can attack spin and pace.
So they go incredibly slow the both get out when they should be set. Awesome freaking batting.
Khwaja is a deadset loser. Hahahaha. Useless.
So this guy Maxwell May actually get a few overs this innings.
Marsh had no need to play at that one, right arm leggie pitching a foot outside leg, stupid
Neither did Khawaja
Instead of having the innings suddenly get pushed along, we have two new batsmen who have to get in and stabilise the innings.
We will not be getting enough runs tonight and the lower order players are going to be blamed for not upping the RR, most will probably get out trying to slog just to get the runs going.
I wouldnāt be surprised if they blame Handscomb for taking a single and exposing Usman to the spinner
We are so ā ā ā ā ā ā ā far off being a good ODI side. Holy ā ā ā ā weāre bad!
And another oneā¦
Stoinisā¦
Stoinis again ahead of Maxwell and again failed. I like Stoinis but he looks like a rabbit stuck in headlights and out of his depth.
