And they voted to remain. Funny that.

May have been mentioned in the previous thread, but Paine broke a thumb at the The Oval and Siddle tore a hip flexor in his first spell at the The Oval. Probably explains why Siddle couldn’t hit a length.

The irony of Siddle being the bowler to injure himself in a team featuring Patto, Cummins, Starc and Hazelwood.

Who are Australia playing this summer?

Next we have home T20s against SL and Pakistan.

Then two Tests against Pakistan and three against NZ, finishing with the SCG Test.

Then an ODI tour of India followed by ODI and T20s in South Africa.

Finally, NZ return for an ODI series in March.

Don’t you mean position open.

Ben Stokes complaining about anyone’s behavior is laughable in the extreme. Why don’t you go bash the editor senseless Ben.

You’ve never been in a drunken dust up then

If youre ok splashing this over the front page I’d question your moral judgement too

Berendorf and NCN have given away Shield cricket this summer to focus on white ball cricket and their chance of further national selection in shorter formats. Basically a concession that they don’t think they’ll ever play test cricket. Sensible. World T20 coming up next October.

You will slaughter Pakistan and Sri Lanka

NZ will be a bit tougher but you will still beat them in all 3. They don’t have enough quality bowlers to get 20 wickets in Australia

I wish a few others would follow their lead, Maxwell and Finch to name a few.

It’s a real shame Behrendorff’s body hasn’t allowed him to play 4/5 day cricket, he’d have been a great option to have for the national squad, particularly in English conditions.
