i remember doing something similar to my sister when i was old enough to know better and with a real bat.
she had been driving me and my brother nuts asking for a bat which we insisted she wasn't allowed to do until she had fielded for 20 minutes, she eventually cracked the ■■■■■ and stormed off across the pitch just as my brother bowled a short one down leg side. i realized her head was in my hitting zone and was quick enough of mind to realise i had a perfectly legitimate explanation for what was about to happen. i had the good sense not to take a real wild swing at it but enough to leave a nice egg. my bro was good enough to back up my explanation of the incident.
