Here we are with our preview for the GWS game. We go through the loss to St Kilda, do a deep dive into some media comment about the Essendon gamestyle and identify the key areas of the Giants game style that we can exploit

You may have seen some commentary in the media this week about how Essendon is still the easiest side to move the ball against from our F50 to our D50. We don’t think that tells the whole story of how things have improved though. We spoke about it on the pod this week, but Jono’s put together a video outlining what’s changed from 2022 to 2023 and how cherry picking one stat doesn’t always provide an accurate representation of what’s happening.
