Same, was on members wing and yeah we looked to set up VERY well at the back. Francis is a loss, but Ridley will more than make that up.
The best aspect was the first qtr, refusing to give up when they tried to blow us away. Their old firm can still do some damage, very quickly.
We’re not going to beat the top sides, but you can be lucky and they can have an off day. Pies showed that they could handle off the charts pressure. Not every side will, but we have to bring it…
Best aspect of all is that we didn’t get ahead of ourselves and never panicked

Most of the game we set up well. I liked that when in dispute we had one or two go in with others just waiting for the ball to come out…helped with our transition away from contested area; Not everyone piling in! We are getting much better at exiting our D50 from kick ins. Turnovers from this last year killed us. Lots to like. Pies ball use was poor but our pressure also panicked them a lot.

I know we say it every Anzac day win bevause they are few and far between
but that was our best - period. for a million reasons. do not care what anyone says

I’m not surprised he had 30 but geez they were average possessions. He was always under pressure. You can see why Collingwood supporters are ■■■■■■■■ themselves. Pendlebury and Sidebottom are fading quickly. They are hanging there future on Nick Daicos.

Just caught up on my reading, every post in this thread. An enormously satisfying result, one l picked weeks ago when l selected us in my From Long Range tips. Anyone could see that the Pies imploding off field would directly impinge on their performances on field. They are in for a few years of abject misery.
