Local team i coach (bombers) beat pies by 72 points, juniors by 79ā¦ then the dons beat the pies with a fantastic display. Doesnāt get much better than this

My young bloke who hasnāt shown too much interest in watching footy (Iāve taken him to a few games), he could hear me in the lounge room going off at the TVā¦ he comes in and watches the game with me in the last quarter.
Snelling kicks the sealer. Iām clapping and fist pumpingā¦ I turn around and my son has his T-shirt off, running around the lounge room & swirling it above his head!

And one of the lasting achievements of today is all those young kids now know what it feels like to win on the MCG in front of 85000 people.

Horror outing last week. Will happen with a inexperienced team in wet conditions.
Players redeemed themselves today. All weāve heard about all week are about the Collingwood outs, but ours, arguably, are just as important to us.
Kevin Sheedy reckons that 1 ANZAC Day game is equivalent to 8 regular home & away games for young players. I concur.
