Not to mention the 3 or 4 clear holding the balls we shouldve been awarded.
I was thing about this and wondered (probably rubbish) if it might be a high risk high reward ploy. They are going to be paranoid of a mark. They kind of have to go all in. If we can spoil anywhere but directly under the contest (yes I know Taranto got there but the effect was the same), then we must outnumber them out there. Wherever it falls (on average). Similar to Redman going fat side. They outnumber us at/near the ball, we gamble on getting it out.
Probably rubbish.
I slightly shudder at the thought Drapes might have grabbed that mark!
Did David King analyse the difference we might pursue if we had 2MP, Cox on a wing, Langford higher rather than taking a key defender, Lav in and maybe Baldwin forward???

Had a bit of a look at the match thread. How multiple people can post after the rubbish in there is gobsmacking…“peahearts” anyone? Call yourselves supporters. Usual suspects who are now carrying on how good the win was. A number who proudly talk up how much we’ll get belted by and how they don’t bother going to matches
