Dyson Heppell

He doesn't have great skills.

LOL are you even talking about heppell here?

He's in my DT grand final team this week. I'm nervous.

You must be playing no one. Isn't it Prelim this week? And it's DT, you can do 2 trades every week.

Think he will miss 2 weeks.

Its DT Elite (the draft one). Our league's GF is this week, we started in Round 1.
I can trade him out as there are unlimited trades but the only people still available are a bunch of spud free agents.

Oh oops, egg on my face. Didn't realise it was the draft one, hence why I said you can do the trades every week,

CRAP! possible stress fracture on the afl pete larkins said.......... not looking good!

Forget pace if you have two Heppell's in your side, pace is useless without skill just ask Jetta.

Jetta has the skill, it's just his brain is farked.

Missing the balls too, the amount of times he should just back himself and go for goal! grrrrr

Frankly, he doesn't, at this point, and that's speaking as the guy who was praying for us to draft him all theway through his u18 year.  His disposal effectiveness is going in the 50-60% range, which is just not enough (Jobe goes at 70-80% and plays a similar sort of game).  He hasn't got the strength in close to be able to stand up in tackles and still get the ball away accurately, and he likes to run with the ball but is not overly quick so he tends to get chased down by tacklers and end up kicking under pressure.  This is all perfectly fixable, but pretending it's not a problem he needs to work on is just silly at this point.

Larkins is an showboating tool, and prone to making big calls on bugger-all evidence.  He would have said that based entirely on the moonboot.  Wait and see.

Phewf, so its not a stress fracture then. Thank the lord.

Maybe its heat stress in the foot - Hurley suffered with this in 2011 or 2012. From memory he was managed through the yea,r and got through fine.

Are they now reporting out for the year?

Well there are only 2 weeks left, so quite possibly.

Are they now reporting out for the year?

Thought he was seeing a specialist today or tomorrow?

Can't check it because old blitz went down but wasn't Hep seen exiting some sort of clinic with xrays in hand back around the bye. Club didn't comment at the time. Maybe he's been nursing this for a while, which might be good news if he's come off the moment it started to play up.

That's not a thing, I think you mean he could have a hot spot, meaning an area that shows the early signs that it could develop into a stress fracture if left un managed.
It doesn't have anything to do with actual heat persay

Stress fracture in foot would be a disaster... Didn't we lose Hird to that for two years?

^^ oh crap. football gods please don't let that be the case.

Glad to see our good run with injuries this season continue...........

This year Heppell demonstrated he will be our next captain and he will be a top 10 league player.

Does he? Is this included in our cap or is this a Judd/Visy style deal?
