Earthquake!

Just heard what I thought was low rumbling and thought oh no here we go again. Not another earthquake however, just a couple of possums playing tag on the roof.

Nick McCallum is on the ready to speak to a possum expert…
Who believes that if that possum was a bear, it would have produced devastatingly dire consequences…

I did the same but it was the lady who lives in the apartment underneath me using her commercial washing machine

I did the same but it was the bloke in the flat next door who had just scoffed a six pack of brown ales and a beef vindaloo.

I loved watching these guys. My cousin Chris was the bass guitarist with the wooly hair.

Not bad for a makeshift gig in a windy melbourne CBD

Anyone felt an aftershock at all? I’ve heard that there have been 12, the most powerful of which was 4.1 about 20 minutes after the original.

I had just a feeling around 8pm.
Nothing shook or anything, it was just a vibe.

Didn’t feel anything twenty minutes after the first quake.

So when’s Melbourne getting its lava wall*?

That’s not so far from the Thompson Dam?

Not too far. 25km or so from the far end. Double that to the dam wall.

What is that part of Gippsland that is supposed to have shifting ground, livestock can’ t be kept there?

That’s all mountains and native forest through there. It’s not a grazing area.

Bloody Dan Andreas!

I bet you Gladys could arrange one for Sydney.

Sydney not gold standard, not even bronze possibly.
WA wheat belt the most seismic prone, Canberra the city most at risk in the event of a quake ( on the Dan Andreas fault line)
