Redman for Melksham

This is so far from a win it’s not funny.

It’s so far from the Raz to Gumby win, it’s not in the same stratosphere

I reckon Redman will not make it (& may even be dumped at the end of this season) & I half expect Melksham to have his best season ever as a goal kicking half forward this year.

I agree that this isn’t a win for us. But would Melksham even get a game for us as a half-forward?
And I’m pretty sure Redman is contracted til 2019.

Melksham’s best position (IMO) is where he played U18 footy, in the middle. He could never get a go there with us because it was an area we were strong in. So he could currently be crucial for us. Ironically, as he chose to go to Melbourne who have a plethora of inside mids we’ll never know if I’m right or not.

We don’t do mcniece any favours playing him on medium forwards. Menzel on the weekend, Hannan against the dees. Can’t remember who he had on Anzac Day but it wasn’t Elliott (bags) or Fassolo (hurls).

He hasn’t really displayed the confidence to demand the ball and go for his kicks at senior level yet either. Something he’d want to do pretty soon as 26 year old rookie. He has an absolute Lazer in his foot when he goes for it. Needs to get bold
