Yes, but the talent coming in bolsters what has previously been our weakest area of the ground. Midfield and backline should be able to hold their own.

Hooker destroyed Petrie at the start of last year too, so, we do have options down back.

Hardingjamon fwd, looked ok(ish) last week, hopefully he gets a better chance to jump at a few more this week.

Doesnt matter who is in defence if our whole ground pressure (in particular through midfield) isnt up to scratch......  and if we dont have players working hard enough to provide options up fwd or mids hitting targets up fwd or it'll just be a procession.

 

North knocked off the Cats at their own game, running and carrying.   That said Adelaide then beat them last week.

 

Not really going into this game with any great degree of confidence..... only plus is the players should be feeling more upbeat given they effectively are in the clear (if anything was going to be laid against them it would have been).
