Terrible news for any young person.
Why would the club know something like this before others? Police, paramedics, fire crews etc. would all know way before they do.

Only got married less than a fortnight ago. Three young kids. Forget about football, this is an absolute tragedy. RIP Diogo. It’s only a small gesture but surely the #20 jersey is retired at LFC. First game of the season at Anfield is going to be something else, his song will be sung like it never has been before:
