From what I am reading Forest were fine and MGW was happy but Marinakis lost the plot. This seems totally plausible considering his erratic behaviour.
Elanga deal done. Was a great season seeing him and Hudson-Odoi wide. Dangerous pair. Always making the run or chase most couldnât.
Will miss this song and watching his work.
Again, to finish top 8 , make Europe and have two of your best young players depart is such a foreign concept to me. And for both to be key components of the counterattack style that the coach sets up for , itâs gonna be impossible to replace.
Looks like Forest are getting some chocolates at the cost of Palace. But dems da rules.
Wonder if Ange is pizzed off with spuds flashing the cash now that heâs gone.
I believe that itâs only happening now that ENIC have external investment about to come in and a stadium naming rights deal on the horizon. Not that Ange will care, he signed up with a youth project in mind and a club rebuild. The investment is probably the reason we got Frank over the line. How do you feel about Kudus going? He is a talent but Bowen plays the right wing role where Kudus would potentially play for us. Bowen is a better player. So itâs a win win but thatâs a Spurs view. Whatâs yours.
I donât know the technicality of ownership rules and all that stuff, but from the outside it seems extremely unfair for Palace. Especially when you think of the big European clubs that flaunt the rules and nothing happens. Hope they get the decision overturned.
He supposedly had a bust up with loppy at the start of this season and âdowned toolsâ it never got much better when Potter arrived. He wanted out. Fans knew it and wanted him gone. Got one sooky player in Paqueta and then kudus trying to outsook him. Biggest gripe with the fans is who he got sold to. Your lotđ. Iâve never paid much attention to when the animosity began between the 2 clubs and any London team were my second team when growing up. European games, always follow the London sides, up north against the scousers or the Manchester sides, always follow the London sides. London derbies used to be like cup finals. Different world and different game now though.
I really hate Sheffield United though ![]()
Edit. Posted earlier that if no WW3 is declared then I will be at the Hammerâs home against the spuds and Chelsea. COYI!!!
Done and dusted now by all accounts. Demoted to the conference league with Forest going into the Europa. The clubs know the rules on joint ownership just bad luck that Lyon finished higher than Palace in their league tables. More bad luck was that Lyon were relegated due to financial problems but reinstated on appeal. Even more bad luck was that the bloke who has shares in both clubs tried to sell his French ones but missed the cut off date ![]()
Used to work with a Hammers fan. Hated Spurs with an Arsenal-type hatred.
Not sure where the hatred comes from. I recall something about a cup match years ago but Iâll have to ask my mate Google if he knows ![]()
More wider soccer, but Van Gaal announces hes in remission
Great news and also for anyone in the same boat.

Have a whinge Forest. We lost Cunha only a month ago for exactly his release clause, it was well known. I donât get the issue.
Supposedly the release clause for MGW was confidential and there was an NDA around it. Therefore, Spurs mustâve found out via his representation, which means that they has been speaking to MGW without permission (eg: an illegal approach). Usually in such instances the bidding club would offer a bit more than the release clause, to make it look like they didnât know it but paid a fee high enough to activate, but in this case Spurs bid was the exact amount, for Forest have smelt a raf.
This stuff happens a lot. But the Forest owner is petty/eccentric enough to completely scupper the deal. He is Greek after all! ![]()
60 is a nice round number⊠they shouldâve made the release clause 61,573,000 that might have smoked out anything fishy
But theyâre supposed to haggle. Spurs that is ![]()
