EPL 2024/25

Ten bob on the dole by Christmas?

One would hope so but weak club ownership might see it go into the new year. I think RVN will be angling for the gig if the geezer gets the flick

Thank God I didn’t stay up for that one. All three goals were a result of turning it over in our own half which they pounced on clinically. I want ETH to do well but the continuous selection of his favourites is gonna be the end of him. Has there ever been a player in history that has fallen off a cliff like Casemiro?

Mmm not confident at all especially since we’ve dropped points at home already

As long as we avoid a 5-0 GD destroying outcome, it’s a bit of a free hit. Not many sides will get points at Anfield.

We are still lacking a bit of finishing class inside the final third but I think we have some threats. I actually thought the “reserve” players against Newcastle looked quite exciting, and Anderson already looks like a starter. The Danilo injury is so disappointing though, he’s the one that can run over the top of them from deep to be scoring chance.

Lmfao. Leicester have won an appeals board case against their PSR troubles on the grounds that because they got relegated in May 2023, and the financial year ended June 2023, then the EPL PSR commission had no jurisdiction over the club as they were technically a Championship Club by June, and maybe all the PSR issues were caused in that final month!!

So there’s a can of worms to play with .

Considering Forest were punished for a period that included two seasons at least partially outside the EPL…

Never in doubt. Suck it PL.

No good the blue side of Manchester trying that one. Been a long time since they’ve been down that low

2-0 lead at half time makes me more nervous than 0-0.

That penalty save by Onana completely changed the game. Southampton were killing us on the right. Despite Rashford scoring a goal he has been a liability once again defensively.

Finishes 3-0. Not vintage performance but much needed.

3-0 is unheard of for this club

Wow, hell of a result for us to bag the win away @ Anfield
That’s a replay I’ll look forward to in the morning

Hmmm just woke up now and seen the scores. Sloppy by all reports. Just one of those we have to shake off and go again.

Hmm. Arne loSt seems a tad irate. :innocent:

“Especially if you face a team who, we never know, maybe they will go all the way to fight for the Champions League, but normally this team is not ending up in the top 10, so if you lose a game against them that’s a big disappointment.”

Hammers nick a point at Fulham. Undeserved by all accounts but an away point in the premier is worth pinching.
