Stan the man … A Forest legend.
Loved watching him till he went to Liverpool.

Take it that’s not a spelling mistake, COYR, so I had to google . Said they’re sometimes called the Reds, mainly called Forest, but surprisingly also called the Garibaldi’s.

Also played for Southend United. The team I was signed up for after leaving school. Dedicated? No I wasn’t.

Actually the original “reds” , adopted ‘garibaldi red’ when the club formed in 1865.

Fun fact - Forest donated a set of match kits to Arsenal when they were formed in 1886, setting them up as a red - wearing club.

I’ve followed English football all my life and have never heard of the ‘Garibaldies’. I remember a biscuit by the same name and whether that was made in Nottingham I wouldn’t have a scooby.

I’d eat a whole packet of Garibaldis after a scooby.

I have known about Forest and their history since I was a kid but I’ve always been perplexed as to why they chose the colours of an Italian general albeit a very influential one. Just one of those quirks of sporting history

Now I have to post this

How’s Man Unitied going?!?
:man_facepalming::man_facepalming:

Isn’t this the bloke they head hunted from Newcastle, which cost them a couple Mill for his release?

Shambles of a club

Like I said from the start, Jim is a fraud and INEOS are a joke. They destroyed Nice and he will do the same to United. Looks like another botched decision

Man U. How the mighty have fallen.
MANU post Ferguson seems like the Bombers post Sheedy.

Haven’t watched much Man United.

Controlled so much of the ball but look to lack the discipline and creativity needed in the front third for regular W’s.

Just to put this into perspective for people who support other clubs.

Rattcliff buys part of the club.

He cleans out all the administrators at Man United.

He head hunts Ashworth from Newcastle United to be sporting director. Which cost’s the club a fortune, as he was under contract at Newcastle…… and they had to wait nearly 6 months to settle the deal.

Ashworth is sacked 5 months later.

You couldn’t make this sh*t up.

Arsenal drop points yet again, this time Fulham at Craven Cottage. 1-1. Aside from set pieces the Gunners really don’t offer that much of a threat…

And next stop for Ange is Ibrox in the UEFA vs Rangers.
That’ll be a lively visit for him…

Hopefully he’s gone soon.
