EPL 2024/25

Palace slice through Utd defence and go 2-0 up, Utd :poop: again.

This City keeperā€¦

These City defensive errors are unrealā€¦

City midfield is porous. They need an entire new midfield like we did at the end of 2022/23.

Whats in the water in Manchester.

Ange just keeps getting a stay of execution

Good olā€™ Ange.
I think he dropped into the Church of Defending enroute to Brentford and saw the light. They did well ā€¦ Jed Spence gave Mbeumo a proverbial bath at left back and the back four stood up. Archie Gray again excellent and Mickey van de Ven is back for the League Cup SF on Thursday at Anfield. Suddenly Ange has an option or two.

Getting past Liverpool in the mood theyā€™re in is a mountain to climb, even if 1-0 up in the tie. But its a cup and if they can keep it tight ā€¦ well who knows.

I still think Liverpool are in the box seat and we would need a miracle to survive Anfield cup night, letā€™s hope for a draw. A month ago I would have thought Newcastle are through, at the moment saddens me to say being 2 up may not be enough.

Rashford officially at Villa

Just wait. Rashford. New club = hopefully new attitude. Could great for Villa, unless he already peaked and is on the downslope.
Wait for Stringer to kick 50+

I think Rashford wanted Barcelona and a break from the premier. Might not be a good deal for Villa. But Iā€™m happy he never came to the Hammers. Looks like we got Ferguson from Brighton. A player to fill the sick bed left by Andy Carroll and being kept warm by Fulkrug at the moment by all accounts.

itā€™s a massive, high risk deal.

Heā€™s one of the highest paid players in the Premier Leagueā€¦ā€¦ and for a medium sized club (recently playing in the championship) who isnā€™t playing Champions league, itā€™s a lot of money to spend.

Villaā€™s paying a premium for a bloke who hasnā€™t played well for 2 years.

Theyā€™re in the last 8 of the CLā€¦

He wonā€™t be though

Oh waitā€¦ā€¦.

F*ck you Villa!

Shows how out of touch with Champions League football I amā€¦ā€¦ thanks Man United.

It remains to be seen what impact he can have. Being out of Manchester and having a fresh start should see him fire initially, whether itā€™s sustainable or not who knows?

His form is dependant on the nightclub scene in Birmingham.

Anyhow heā€™s gonna get a rude awakening under Unai Emery.

Lingard was exactly the same. Starred for the Hammers for a few games but soon went back to his Manchester days with his hangers on. Rashford might get the " new club bounce" but I donā€™t think it will last.

And for how sh*t Man United have beenā€¦. Theyā€™ve still won the second most cups amongst EPL clubs over the last decade.

Medium sized clubā€¦. Not really.
