I disagree. We looked good overnight and were outclassed by a better team. I think we need to give Potter a lot of time. He’s a class manager when given the opportunity and it’s good to see an English manager in the role.

The great thing is, Arne hasn’t even had a chance to bring in the players he wants yet. He is on the cusp of winning the league with last year’s squad. The only 2 signings made have been Marmadashvili, who has remained on loan at Valencia this season, and Chiesa, who has had minimal impact in the league.
I hope FSG don’t cheap out and give him a good budget for some signings in the summer. I tend to agree with Jamie Carragher, we need 5-6 new players in to refresh the squad. I’d say we need:

That’s what I’m saying. It’s his off season, build his own side, play his own game plan. See what happens next season. But if this time next year it’s the same set up with square pegs in round holes and headless chooks playing the same style as loppy then the fans will want him gone.
I want to see exciting, attacking, victorious football for at least the first month of the new season. I’m over there most of August through to mid September
