Postecoglou still looking for a win. Another game of squandered dominance .

My concern is that we haven’t played well for 90 mins yet. This has been coming. Hopefully the foot up the arse we need.

Only watched the highlights but looked like Crystal Palace should have had a couple in the first half. I only watched the second half of Spurs, what a stinker. Outplayed by Wolves at home. The fitter Palhihna gets the better this loan is looking. Nice goal.

All set up for Arsenal to pull back 3 points tonight. But they won’t.

Feel like watching it live most chances Palace did have were all offside bar 1 or 2. The comms team though made it sound like Palace should have had 4 or 5 but in reality 2 tops because the rest were offside.

I know it’s early but is anyone else worried about Wirtz? He looks lost out there. Kerkez also not great, feel like Frimpong should start most games he gave us a spark when he came on.

Grav, Szobbo, Virg, Chiesa and Ekitike been our best so far this season the rest have been bang average.

First half looked pretty good. Kudus a big threat. Xavi stunk up every corner and cross though. Thank god Palhinha saved some embarrassment at the end.

Why do we play Xavi on the left. He looks so much better when playing in the middle.

Only watched highlights but also thought, think it was Mateta was very unlucky with a cracking strike. Inside wood work. Anyway might be good for Liverpool could be the loss that straightens them up. Watched a couple of games and they have been playing ok without being brilliant. Thats a great position to be in considering points accumulated.

I personally think Liverpool bought way too many players at once to comfortably gel into the team seamlessly.

All teams have hiccups along the way and it’s a bit disrespectful towards a pretty tight and energetic Palace side.

It most probably won’t last all season but they look fluent in the midfield and resolute in defence and they will take points off plenty of sides if they can keep it up

No disrespect to this Palace side meant, they have beaten Liverpool twice now - they are a very good team.

I wasn’t meaning you but just in general all the commentary seems to be Liverpool played poorly and had a stinker.

Both keepers earned their cash.

Speaking of cash, I finally have a payout figure. $25! I should probably take it. :joy:

Slot has a lot more selection headaches he needs to resolve than he did last season. You could probably pick 9 of the starting 11 every week. Pending fitness, your keeper and back 4 were set and forget, as were the midfield 3. The only ones he’d have to think about was who played on the left and who played up top in the front 3. This season, keeper and the 2 CBs still the same, but you’ve got 2 new full-backs. Wirtz being an expensive signing means he plays, so you’re only picking 2 of Gravenberch, Dom and Macca. Then up front the left and central positions are also still up for debate. He has to find the best mix pretty quickly.

Gooners get an away win. Could be their season?

No. Arteta’s their manager. Everton mentality.

Our performance was a lot better today than the man city game, pretty much needs to be the blueprint for the gunners moving forward.

I’ll take a smash and grab result against Newcastle away any day, but we performed well and the result is deserved.

Newcastle should have been awarded that pen for handball.

And the Gyokeres penalty should have stood.
