Rumour, if it is to be believed, is that Marc Guehi asked if Slot would be our manager next season. The club refused to confirm and hence he’s decided to sign for City. I’m not one for sacking managers at the drop of a hat, and we haven’t sacked a manager since Brendan Rogers. But now Alonso is available I think he’s on borrowed time. Having said that, we did more than enough to win that game and be out of sight before HT. Paid the price for wasteful finishing, Dom missing a penalty.
