Hydration breaks incoming!!!
Rodri sold to Barca. City are ■■■■■■.
taiwo, a heart player forest. breaks like glass but when on the pitch he kicks goals.
he’ll get much more opportunity at coventry.
wishing him well. his smile lights up a room
Love it, glad to see the back of him.
Gagging for the season to start this Friday and getting back to the Emirates.
Feels a tough year to tip the top 4.
I think it might go Arsenal, United, City, Liverpool.
Not sold on United but question marks on a lot of teams.
Should have relegated us when you could have. Coys.
Forest are very obviously relying on Glasners tactical setups for improvement , none of the feverish mass signings of some previous years. On paper, with Anderson’s departure, we look weaker , and I do think we need more firepower up front - Wood is an old man now - but the change in structure and Glasners liking for wingbacks etc makes it hard to judge how we’ll fare. In some ways, it’ll be a throwback to Steve Coopers first year in charge , where Spence as an attacking wingback and Johnson out wide became the dangerous threat.
Now official, Arsenal have signed Ezri Konsa for a purported £55 million. This is a really solid signing by the Gunners, and will provide coverage at CB for Saliba as well as the potential to cover RB, covering for Timber and White for when his inevitable injury hits. Unfortunately, looks like Guimaraes suffered an injury in the Community Shield and may miss a couple of weeks although there is no detail on the injury from the club.
Spurs have really backed de Zerbi in.
Savinho now in from City for £75m … whoosh.
And his mate Mamoush sounding like he’ll be next..£59m. The meter shows its over £300m and rising their transfer spending so far. And they’re after Gapko too apparently
.
Bit quiet on here chaps. It kicked off last night. Arsenal beating Coventry 3-0.
Gonna be hard for anyone to catch them this season, unfortunately.
Starting the season with Arsenal vs Coventry. Feels a bit like AFL having opening round, bit boring and predictable.
Yeah, think they win it comfortably
lol Tottenham
Spurs should be pushing for top 6. 6-8 range with the signings.
Spurs need to crawl before they can walk. Finished 17th 2 seasons running. Simply avoid being anywhere near the muck this season. If you get Europe that’s a bonus. But their should be no delusions of grandeur.
Have Spurs found a clause saying you are allowed to spend £500m if you almost get relegated?
Yea that’s what I am thinking but Spurs finished 5th the previous season. With the money spent and players they are bringing in. If they are not competing for a Europe position then it’s a fail in my eyes.
I’m hoping for a solid mid table finish and a good cup run or two. No more relegation dogfights please Forest
Take out the Europe factor that took its toll on the squad last year and we should be able to get some advantage over the other teams playing in Europe this season
How much we miss EA and who plugs the hole will determine how we do this season
So far preseason form has been encouraging but we can’t rely on MGW to carry us thru, need to share the load
Arsenal have signed a bargain in Tzolis. Direct and pacy, can put in a cross.
