Paixao would make us a extremely dangerous side. I don’t mind if he didn’t want to come, some of our current players left and came back and were forgiven. He’s class and with a player like him I would almost not need to worry about the drop zone.
Striker is tricky in the current market. You’d almost want a like for like DCL type but kicks goals like Piroe. Well thats a 60-80 million dollar player. When I saw Ueda go for 17 mill that annoyed the hell out of me, he would have been the perfect piroe replacement.
I think we’ll end up bringing in a loan striker late and load up next season. Probably do the same for the LW/AM.
Edit: Just adding a rant: Leeds for the past 6 years have been brilliant at talent identification…for other teams. I could name at least a dozen players that we have persued only to be pipped at the post by another side. Our acquisition team are terrible. Don’t get me started on our own player valuations when selling either. It’s Charity FC.
Big last few hours of the transfer window. Arsenal much weaker in attack than last season, a huge fail at the moment with the club having let Arteta down.

Some of the money spent on certain players this year I think has been insane. Only saw it in one report this evening and thought it made sense as to why Chelsea would choose to let them go to their North London rivals and not play regularly like previously reported.
Berta has been terrible. Why the F continue with the Alvarez bullshite, when the bloke literally said I don’t want to play for you. No, we continue to hold our ■■■■■ and hope he changes his mind while seemingly ignoring multiple other LW’s and CF’s.
Owners literally said, here’s the money and Berta has pretty much squabbled over every penny and hasn’t spent it. I hate to say it but typical Arsenal. All it’s main competitors see a players, pay the money and make it happen, we argue over the last 15 pence in the contract.
