Ess v Coll Friday 3/7/20 - Where's the team?

You know what, Zaka will probably kick the farking winning goal in the rain, in the last 30 seconds and all ( well, almost all) will be forgiven.

I agree and posted as such above, but John will reason that no one can touch Pendlebury, so don’t bother.

I reckon there are ways to do it. Double farkin team him in the contest. Then he cannot dodge and step.

Edit: John would say double teaming does not work. Well just look what teams do to Stringer when he is in at stoppages.

And he’ll get a free pass for another 10 years

What about our coach?

I think there are a few here who would like to be in the committee that decides on delistings at the end of the season, and I know the two who would be at the top of their list. I get the zeitgeist

We are such rank outsiders for this game.

In all honesty I’m ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  PUMPED that Orazio is playing against the Pies again, finally. Nothing makes me happier than Raz absolutely embarrassing Maynard who tries to act hard as the rest of our team just laughs at him.

I thought Raz’s last quarter last week was promising too, in the sense that I actually saw him on the ground which is better than the previous 2 seasons.

In all seriousness he has played Collingwood for 4 times for 3 wins and 1 loss, averages 20 touches and 2 and a half goals and has bags of 5 and 4 against them.

So, who do we replace him with when he’s a late out?

the simple fact is, if they panic bomb it, esp into the fowardline like last week, then no we can’t do it, there’s x number of years evidence to back that up.

Just can’t see them winning, i can see a better intent no doubt, but the biggest areas that have been costing us, are still there, and you’re actually playing against a top 4 side, while also missing your best midfielder, and your most mobile kpd.

could get real ugly, even if again the intent is increased from last week.

Underdogs with the FOX experts.
Collingwood 10 — Essendon 1 ( Cam Mooney) LOL

But has he played on Langford 2.0?

This will have cleared Melbs long before the Bounce.

Nothing coming behind it either.

The same reason that Worsfold let Docherty run around on his own with no opponent and gathered 32 disposal .the same reasons Zak is not the side is worsfold so insipid as a coach .the person who should take the responsibility for our failure for the last 5 years is Xavier Campbell .he appointed this idiot. We had a chance to blood Ruttan as coach. With no-strings-attached but we never took that opportunity now we’re stuck with this fool

Collingwood are 6th. I have to agree they are ā€œnotionallyā€ a top 4 side. We are playing to leapfrog them, and we have a game in hand, but we have yet to play a team "above " us. This was always supposed to be the most difficult game of the first 5 so on balance we are underdogs on form.

In round 1 GCS were thrashed by PA. Now they are 2nd on the ladder. Who saw that coming?
