I know I’m a downer on this site a bit too often … But that’s going to look like a mess from a distance. Make it small on your screen and view it from across the room.

Maybe write the names in white on a black background (as on the black part of the Essendon guernsey) with the Red Sash across it and the number 34 could be in solid white?
No name should be bigger than any other in my opinion, while an affinity to the 12 that are still with us, we put the 34 in this position and they all deserve equal support.
I know this hard, having non Essendon names on an Essendon banner (I booed Ryder at the Port game last year), but they all deserve undivided support.

Hopefully getting 70,000 to this game will spook the Melbourne players who have never played in front of more than 15,000 :p
I’m pretty sure there were more than 15,000 in the crowd when the dees flogged Geelong at Kardinia Park last year and there would have been more than that when they smacked Richmond in round 4. But we get your point, as inaccurate as it is.

How many were in the crowd when we beat them last year as our only win for about 3 months?
Think you need to find a sense of humour.
