The tackle numbers across the board is so satisfying to see.
Also awesome to see Caldwell, Hobbs and Perkins all contributing strongly.

What a bloody exciting if not a bit skill deprived game of footy.
We really struggled early on with skill error turn overs but after the first 15 mins our pressure around the contest really kept us in it.
Second half we were excellent. Hard, contested, working up and down the ground and we defended the ground SO much better. So many 50/50 spoils, intercept marks. Just really pleasing to see.

He wasnt as good as his stats show. He directly cost us 3 or 4 goals.
Overall wasn’t terrible though and if we play like we did in that second half every week then I can see why they want him there.

I think as fans we should watch what he does to realise what a wingman has to do.
You have to be able to run pocket to pocket. If you can’t do that, then you’ll get beaten on the rebound (which Martin started finding out about last year).
On multiple occasions it was great to see both our wingman working both forwards and back to help the back six and also to help the forward line trap the ball in our forward line.
It’s great to finally have a wingman who is willing to do the running.
Just need to find a replacement for Kelly eventually.
