That 1st quarter was appalling.
I had flash backs of a 120 point belting.
They really didn’t look up for it at all. Many of the players were pulling out of contests. Was good to see that turn around in the second half.

Who’d have thought having tough, inside players who love physicality would be what helps this football side win games.
Durham, Caldwell, Stringer and Merrett all tough nuts. Perkins has a tough edge, with the rest of the boys buying in too.
I thought Merrett was well down on his best, and Parish had a poor game, but we still managed to claw our way back on a team effort. Also managing to shut down oppisition teams again in the last 20 minutes is not something I’ve accustomed to with this football club.

We hassled them out of it in the second half. When we upped the pressure, the mistakes came. Our workrate was a thing of beauty.
If we can maintain it we’ll cause a lot of headaches.

So proud of these boys, so proud of Jake Kelly who smashed one of the best players in the comp, so happy for all my Bomber brothers and sisters who’ve done it so hard for so long. Our time might be coming and I’m so ready.
