The inclusion of Nick Hind in the team cannot be understated, people question Scott’s selection but he’s put faith in Hind and it’s paid off enormously.

Not a complete performance but given the calibre of opponent and early deficit that’s a mighty impressive win.
That discipline and work rate will win a lot of matches - polish will come, really need to tidy up some of the set shots but all in all, rapt with the win and progress. It’s visible

I thought from the point we upped our pressure and stopped Hogan and Riccardi marking everything, we were the better side. Some missed shots and some terrible stuff ups kept it closer.

I just don’t know what to think about that ladder.
But I do know we played some outstanding footy today in the second half. And we won despite still being well off our best. Excellent pressure and intent, plus executing an effective game plan.
That’s a win to enjoy and build hope on.

We have gone from one of the softest teams to one of the toughest. We smothered them in that second half. Our pressure rating was up at 245 in the last.
