Stringer was a good shot at goal. After he missed that straightforward shot on Anzac day… something has happened. Wright can’t seem to take a mark…Jones is so inconsistent. We also lack that speedy consistent small forward.
If we are going to win a final, we need that to change these fast.
Loving everything about this Essendon Edge. Long may it continue.
So far this year, Port has been the only team to take the game out of our hands. In almost all games nowadays, I feel like we control the game, for the most part, and other teams only score on our mistakes.
That’s a beautiful position to be in, because mistakes can be cleaned up. Do that, and we go from contending with most teams, to blowing them away.
And that’s this team. Here and now. Without all our best players or additional superstars. But with some young guns who, under Brad Scott’s development program, are only going to get better.
When did the rule change, or is it ok only for GWS?
I must get my eyes checked. I am 100% certain those ■■■■■■ throw the ball. I mean really throw the ball. So many times they went forward or broke open a pack with a very clear throw.
No matter, despite not getting one 50/50 umpire decision all day, we controlled the last quarter like a conductor controls an orchestra
And a huge bouquet to the recruiters for bringing Goldy to Essendon.
Big man big heart gives 100% every week.
Inspired recruiting.
And he might go around again next year on present form and fitness
I can’t believe all of a sudden we have a ready made elite AFL ruckman . he’s made a massive difference to our midfield structure . he is a huge factor in why our ranking is so high at centre clearances .
