Mate it was one of the few times the crowd were screaming for our players to farkin move and do somethibg when we were actually wining and playing well overall. Its clear why we cant put teams away, just yet
It’s bad enough watching the pretend ‘handball’ when the ball is actually being propelled by the holding hand and not the fist but yesterday there were numerous instances of rugby like motions throwing the ball out of congestion.
Tackling has become elite by all teams and it does congest the play but accepting throws is not the answer to moving the ball.
I’ve said for a long time that third man in should be free kicked because he creates the stoppage and is in fact holding the man (usually his own team mate) and he is preventing the ball coming out.

Good point. Both switched wing-defence in H1 but after half time it was Hind mainly defence and Heppell mainly wing.
Bizarrely (assuming Coll win today), we’d be 8th at the end of the round without the draw. Handy points.

We got more calls than we do away in that area. Where it’s virtually impossible.

100% if you plié In especially if your team has the ball …
Also if you tackle and they pin your arms I’m sure it’s still possible to let the ball drop from your hands but strangely no it seems that once pinned the ball is glued to your hands …
Holding the ball incorrect disposal whatever it is then should be payed

Watching the replay, 3 to go in the second quarter, gotta say if they didn’t have a couple of posters wed’ve been deeply down at half time. Not feeling the optimism like I thought I might. I’m sure the second half is great but being let off the hook after a pretty awful first half with some decent pressure isn’t what I was expecting. Thank fark for the usual suspects in Merrett, Durham, McKay. (And 2 remarkable goals from Lang) Giants were off too, even with all the gifts we and the umps were giving. Not losing my lid yet.
Bloody hell the 8 is tight.
Thankfully we should win our next 2 which should provide some breathing room

We burned a lot of pressure, entries and opportunities for the majority of the second quarter before that.
Should’ve been much closer, even if they kicked those, so same same.
It was a poor 1st, not the whole half.
