Dogsh!t in the first quarter. And felt like we were in store for one of those days.
But clearly the better team thereafter. Clean up some of the really sloppy errors (eg Cox/Goldy) and that would have been a much larger win.
Our forward line other than Kyle Langford was basically non existent (2MP got an absolute bath) so good to find other avenue to goal. Also good to find other ways to get on top with Merrett and Parish having poor days by their standards.
As an aside, my 4 y/o conked out after a big day of Aus Kick, swimming etc so we had to leave at 3QT. Hanging to see the last.

Pressure and work rate can’t be questioned currently, still a work in progress with our skills.
Doing this with some key pegs out in the back half, but for all the flack they get, kelly, hep & lav generally hold up if there’s reasonable pressure up the field.
Finally merrett has a worthy supporting cast.
