Incredible season by Real. Won the Liga and go back-to-back in the UCL. Zidane is a master at working with his talent. Convincing Ronaldo to accept not playing much against the Liga minnows allowed him (and Kroos and Modric) to be in peak form when it mattered. Not sure anyone else could have pulled that off given the egos at stake. Really happy!
As for Juve, what a season by them. Buffon is a legend but in the end it looked like they aged 10 years at halftime. They will be back.
Zidane is one of the few personalities in the sport that could take the ego-centre that is real.
Their president wouldn’t even think of turfing him too because the fans love him so much.
An interesting question is - Where does Ronaldo fit into the list of all-time greats ? He has a super record in both an individual and team sense.
Ronaldo > Messi
Has to be up there with Pele, Maradonna, Beckenbauer and Best.

You take out Ronaldo’s ego and arrogance and everyone would love him (as a biased Real fan I obviously do). The man delivers when it matters. I think winning the Euro with Portugal will be seen as his greatest accomplishment in comparison to Messi.
