nd taxing marathon training. You can’t be an absolute mof… all of the time - neither during a long run (or even the marathon itself), or a training period. Your mind needs to zone out, relax, and let the cruise control take over a bit here and there. Otherwise - the 16 + week regime of pushing yourself, chasing shadows to improve, can get on top of you. If you’ve failed in the past - the monkey on your back is so much bigger and makes things tougher. All this is where nobody gives a ■■■■ if I run a 4min/km marathon or drop off 10sec - except me…

So… when it comes to a pro footballer, there’s so much more weight and expectation, internal and external, that each player needs the tools and to learn how to go about it. For some it comes naturally, for some perhaps harder, and it isn’t a one-size-fits-all either.

I for one really hope SeanMac realizes his potential - if he does, he’ll have earned it.

It’s not a concern at all… if one man wants to give another consenting man a friendly reach around while they are having a group photo taken, there’s nothing wrong with that.

I’d be surprised if he’s not. He’s a our number three ruckman, and our first two have pretty decent injury histories. He’s also useful as a tall target up forward.
He’s clearly not going to be best 22 next year, but half the list isn’t going to be. He’s useful depth in my mind.
