Thanks for helping me get through night shift. You’ve put a lot of effort in and have some great points.
I was listening to Don Stat the other day and he made a good point about our midfield and a reason behind the poor two way running, stating that they needed to add another midfielder to the mix and as there was too much reliance on a core 3/4 players.

if everyone has already resigned or been sacked, what will be left to review (except “what are Geelong doing?).
it will be very easy for all the blame to go to people who are no longer at the club.
Thanks @Mainland251.
The move of X resigning and Madden etc moving on is great for the club - not because I think X was a bad CEO, it’s just that he wasn’t a good Football CEO. Kinda sounds silly when you say it out loud, but as a CLUB we could have easily folded to commercial pressures through the Saga and then to have Covid be a double whammy. I actually think he did a very good job from a commercial perspective (as per my post), but should have kept away from the football elements which he clearly didn’t do well in.
I think Mahoney will get retained and I still believe that Dodoro will be the next to go. Tactically I think this will happen AFTER the trade period - after we’ve found the new coach, potentially new CEO by then and have had the outcomes and recommendations from the external review presented.
I dont see how any more changes can be made until the review has been completed and presented and at the very least, this should also be done with the new CEO in place…
