Red Bull salvaging a podium stopped what would have been a disastrous race - Red Bull was faster than Ferrari, so in the end they received their just desserts - At the same time on lap 68 if Verstappen had given the place back to Vettel as directed by RBR, then the battle between Ricciardo and Vettel would never have happened. Swings and roundabouts - Ricciardo’s post race interview was reiterating his comments from earlier in the week, when he stated that drivers are not being penalised enough for mistakes in races.
