Oh jeez, Danny qualifies 5th, AND outqualifies Tsunoda.
I will now wipe the egg off my face and run naked down Swanston street. No, lets see, I didn’t say I would do that if Danny even got to Q3, and I am a bit cautious now. There is a chance Verstappen and Lando crash out at the first turn, so there is a chance albeit small that Danny Ric can wrangle a podium, and if not maybe even points ( if his tyre choices work out and his chassis doesn’t mysteriously play up.)

Far more credentialed drivers have done far less than Danny Ric at F1 level.

It was a weird call by Jacques to focus on DanRic like that. So many drivers don’t measure up and still get to race for long periods in F1. What does he have against Daniel?

McLaren will be rueing that first safety car. Norris has a 12 second lead but missed the initial safety car pit stop because he was on the wrong part of the track. It’s one that got away.

yep, I enjoyed it a lot. Plenty of genuine duels throughout the race. Wet weather can make a massive difference.
McLaren and especially Norris are certainly making things interesting. But hopefully that was a one off disaster weekend for Ferrari, so both can challenge Max and Red Bull.
