Indeed. While Verstappen is still ahead of the field, he’s gettable if those other teams/drivers are that the very top of their game. Impressive driving by Lando, he’s at least going to give second position in the drivers championship a genuine crack.
I enjoyed the Spanish GP a lot.

Would have been interesting had Norris pitted earlier on his first stint and his second pitstop not been 3.6 seconds. Good race, slightly formulaic but that can be Barcelona at times.

Lando definitely has the better car. Red Bull limit and penalties on win tunnel use is having an impact.
Lando will win a few races but hopefully Verstappen still wins the title.

I imagine Lawson will get the gig over Dan next year. The stuff about this year is just speculation at this point based on what is expected to happen next year.
Lawson will be lucky to get a seat.
Marko disagrees
Speaking to Austrian publication Kleine Zeitung, Marko said the desire is to have Lawson.
“The shareholders have made it clear that it is a junior team and we have to act accordingly,” he said.
“The goal was that [Ricciardo] would be considered for Red Bull Racing with exceptional performances. That seat now belongs to Sergio Perez, so that plan is no longer valid.
“We will have to put a young driver in there soon. That would be Liam Lawson.”
