Outside of McLaren (which wasn’t available) would it matter which car you are in? Ferrari probably is the second best car. May as well take the big bucks.
I listen to The Late Breaking F1 Podcast and that is chaired by two Englishman. They have nothing but praise for Oscar and say he is undoubtably the best driver.
It’s only those wankers on the official telecast that have it in for him and have the Norris coloured glasses on. TWatts.
I hope mclaren has exited their wake of lando’s engine blowing to celebrate oscars win
Too soon, too soon. ![]()
They are too busy doing a patch up job on Lando’s engine and swapping it out into Oscar’s car for this week ![]()
None of that would surprise me in any way shape or form.
Joylon Palmer a Brit it’s completely on board with Oscar being a better driver statistically for the entire year and believes that before the summer break he could’ve been at least 60 points up and it’s about time he had luck go his way
my 2 favourite features of piastri’s style and its carried through his f3 and f2 careers, and i’d presume his karting career, he rarely makes mistakes, and sends in 9.5/10 lap after lap, relentlessly which applies pressure on everyone, and the 2nd when he does make a mistake, that mistake is gone next rate.
Is that legit?
Jesus ■■■■■■■ christ.
So Lando won a moral victory?

If lil b was a f1 driver
To be fair to the common potators, Norris is also talking up his race big time. Gives no credit to Oscar, poor sport old chap.
You might’ve missed during the first few laps when Oscar shot out to a few seconds lead. They said that Lando was conserving his tyres, and that it was his strategy to just sit back
Then after the race was completed they said the Mclarem team would be more upset by Lando DNF than happy about Oscar’s win.
It’s odd ball stuff.
I always budget for a driver to have one mechanical and one crash per season whicj Lando has fulfilled, so, there is always a chance this could befall Piastri.
Three soon to be fathers are waiting in the visitors room; an Australian, an Englishman, and an Indian…..
I’m pretty sure he completed every race last season, so you’d have to think he’s due for 1 failure or Stroll to run into him.
there is always a chance this could befall Piastri.
Piastri had his misfortune in Melbourne.
british legacy media has always been extremely parochial about all sports. i don’t know why anyone would expect f1 to be different.
Also doesn’t help that F1 can typically be pretty ‘boring’ at times. Cars are too similar. Too big to pass each other. Can’t race in the wet.
I just watched a highlights package of 2014 Bathurst, and it was farking chaos. They’d have called off F1 under those circumstances.
They need to manufacture excitement, and the rivalry and barracking for Lando might help keep audiences up.
Other than us, no one else really wants to see an Aussie win the title.
