F1 2026 Cadistack

Ferrari looks like a jet off the start BUT will they have the pace for the rest of the race.

Amazing turn around for Hadjar from Australia last year. Now sitting in what is hopefully a more benign 2nd seat at Red Bull. Can not be underestimated.

Anyone keen on F1 fantasy? F1 run a proffesional fantasy league, prizes include F1 race tickets and F1 store vouchers.

I have started a league called blitzleague, anyone wanting to have a go just follow the link below, cost cap is 100 million.

( Repost with correct league code )

Have just setup with unlimited participants but only 1 team each, when it says only 1 team it just means you cant have multiple teams in this league.

I would think the Australian round is a decent chance of being cancelled or delayed.

I doubt it. If some staff are unable to make it then so be it but 99% of the f1 contingent will get there.

If there is a delay, then that really means a cancellation. No way they can leave all the track infratructure in place for an extra week when everything in planned around immediate removal. And they could never cover the costs of removing then reinstalling everything. Or get around the planning/interruptions.

Main concern will surely be the people in Bahrain and any cars associated with the planned tyre tests. Hopefully they were using 2025 cars for the testing.

Could the do back to back in Melbourne?

Strong chance that those two races are re-scheduled I would have thought. Most fans will avoid travelling to either event so tickets will need refunding. And F1 personnel will never take the chance.

Not sure what you mean?

I can’t recall the calendar order, but could they do a ‘double header’ in Melbourne and host 2 GP if another event is cancelled?

Over a weekend or a week?

Maybe can be sandwiched in between China and Japan.

Crowd numbers will definitely be down, will be almost impossible to travel here this week.

Logistical nightmare

Don’t think Melbourne could do anything like that. The next race is China on the following weekend, teams have to transport everything over there. But that race and Japan (two weeks later) are all fine.

Theoretically, Melbourne would need to disassemble all of the grandstands, track fencing, bridges, etc. It takes 4 weeks to set up and another 5 days or so to disassemble. They are never going to host two races, the uproar would be massive. Plus we would never pay the licensing fees or costs.

Most likely is that a permanent circuit steps in and shifts forward. Barcelona, Monza, etc. Or otherwise they delay to a later date

If that’s the case, I’d have no doubt another country would jump at it.

Maybe they would still host the rest of the cars at Melbourne? I know it’s not the same, but other races might still go ahead everything is booked and paid for.

would also require legislation change re: park closure
