i think the cars sound better than last year to be honest, was there yesterday in the piastri stand
I’ve been at slow-ish corners, the cars move around a bit more and look more difficult to drive, which I like
But the turn 9-10 chicane which used to be a balls out corner is now a doddle and that’s not good
It was like there was a wide range of noise levels depending on what they were deploying at the time.

Am I right in reading that the slowest qualifier in previous year, was still faster than fastest qualifier this year?
Wow, that’s astonishing really. Was there yesterday in the Schumacher Stand. A slower corner before heading into the main strait. Cars didn’t sound great. V8 sound craps all over them.
I think the FIA is working on a principle that faster =/= better racing.
Which may or may not be true. It’ll bear out over time. But the cars don’t always need to get faster.
Apparently, it’s all about making the cars slower so that they can get faster over the time of the new regulations otherwise the cars would be too fast for the race tracks
Won’t take long. End of the year cars will be 2-3 seconds faster.
