Even though George picked up points on Kimi, that was a bad race for him.
That was his to win. Yes the VSC killed his chance with Hamilton. But Kimi had him covered in race pace again. And with Lewis well between them in the championship, the questions will be asked about Mercedes focussing on Kimi given the threat of Lewis.

Oscar just hasnt looked to have the same race pace as lando in a few races lately, ever since the upgrades he has been struggling, im assuming the upgrades suited landos driving more, but man, oscar needs to pick it up.
Qualy was just unfortunate given there was like .08 of a second between 3 and 7th.

Kimi will be the 2026 Piastri.
Rapt to see Ferrari get the win, and for Hamilton to achieve what’s been a “dream” for him. It all went swimmingly well for him today.
And Ferrari nailed a strategy and made the rights calls during the race. It can happen.
Upgrades and reliability are going to make for an interesting season ahead.

Remarkable timing and length of the safety car
The Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series safety car has an overall length of 4.604 metres.
Not sure that’s particularly remarkable…
