To any of you Blitzers suffering pre seson blues due to injury etc then I have something to lighten up your life. There is a comedy show on tonight at 6 on KAYO. It is the first pre season/practice match for FC. Should be lots of lowlights. It will be like watching the Keystone Cops on Youtube. Post game you can also get all the fan cams on Youtube sooking it up and calling for the sacking of Voss. I especially look forward to the bloke who likes to smash eggs on his head. And Fark Carlton
This is the sort of useful content that keeps me coming back to this forum.
Took literally 10 seconds for the Bears to kick the first goal ![]()
Iâm too afraid of karma to enjoy it.
The BLues are exceeding my expectations, it is goingto be a very bad year for them. FC
Jagga smith moves like daicos
As we used to say âLook at the scoreboardâ. Says he never touched it.
Oh and a quick editâŚ. Fark carlton
Did they lose
Sadly they were winning last time I checked
Jagga Smith getting plenty of rave reviews
Fark Carlton won
He looked good.
Harry Dean did a couple of nice things, too.
They beat the premiers Carlton a flag contender
I donât think Brisbane were going at anything near full throttle.
I wouldnât take too much from the result.
Gunna be nice to get their hopes up before the season then watching them fall apart will be so much sweeter
I think theyâll be fairly strong this year (nothing to do with todayâs result) but their list is built for now. Itâs finals or out for Voss surely.
They have badly underperformed with a list comprising all Australian players at every line (be it weaker in the ruck now).
All about if their bottom 6 players can improve, injuries donât mount and they can transition their game style away from pure stoppage focus (feels unlikely under Voss).
But yeah Fark Carlton
They still have a pretty strong spine and a couple of good young players but their depth and general soft underbelly will be their downfall.
BIG TEZZ
By getting guys like Hayward, Ainsworth & Florent and to a lesser extent Chessar, they are certainly trying to fatten out their depth and ensure they are around the mark rather than slipping down for a proper rebuild.
Jagga Smith and Nic Newman back from ACLâs are essentially two additional players as well.
