WOB, this is your best post on blitz. Stiff competition, but here we are.

For those who can empathise with mental health struggles (I can, extensively), even opening up like WOB has done here and many good blitzers have done in the MH thread is worth so, so much. The value of seeing you’re not alone, weak, isolated or abnormal can be literally the difference between life and death. Even if it is indirect (Hollands will probably never see WOB’s post), the addition each and every shared experience builds awareness and the potential for acceptance and education.
For those who have never experienced anything like this, I’m genuinely happy for you and hope you never do. Remember, though: you are the minority.
And the price of sympathy? Absolutely free of charge.
The media in general, and in particular the absolute grubs that manufacture the AFL news industry: You are not good people.
Several commentators and outlets put a man’s life at risk, directly, with their behaviour in the pursuit of clicks and “exclusives”.
May they rot.
