Yeah that’s a real surprise in terms of another 5 seasons (was out of contract at the end of 2025). If he’d have signed for 2-3 years that would seem to be more responsible, but 5 is far too long IMO for a guy who is a good player but not great and also very injury prone.

I work in Network Security/Cyber Security.
Sayers’ account wasn’t hacked, as such.
Someone close to him, who has access to his phone, posted the image and tagged the Bupa executive.
Let’s just say “hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” i.e. in my opinion, his wife found out he had been playing up and posted the image and did the tagging.
So, the AFL is 100% correct in saying Sayers himself didn’t post the image.

How peculiar that he stepped down the day he was “cleared”. The whole ecosystem sucks.
Technically he was hacked - by his wife who allegedly sent out the pics and tagged the BUPA employee. Like previously posted you can figure out why his wife allegedly sent the pics and tagged this woman.
