Does anyone remember Joe Dare? Drafted to fark Carlton about 20 years ago from Cobden. It was said that he was a mad Essendon fan and disappointed to be drafted to those scum.
Came back and played for Cobden with his (many) brothers, and later coached Alvie in the Colac league. Alvie is on the shores of Lake Corangamite, the biggest lake in Victoria, north west of Colac.
He’s now been charged with criminal damage of two Colac sporting ovals by driving recklessly across the grounds.
Must have picked his criminal propensities at FCFC.
