Fears Carlton co-captain Sam Docherty has suffered another ACL tear

The Herald Sun understands Docherty was taken from pre-season training today for scans.

Docherty was set to join superstar Patrick Cripps as co-captains in 2019.

The All-Australian missed the entire 2018 season after rupturing his ACL in last year’s pre-season.

Because of the way they play, Docherty and Simpson run around on their own.

I highly rate Docherty. He was also All Australian in the last season he played so i’m not the only one.

Docherty is a gun. That sucks if true (and if it is, I suspect that Carlton will be calling Adelaide seeking to enforce a cooling off period).

I really feel sorry for the guy. First playing for FC and 2nd for having a bad injury run.
I believe they appointed him a co-captain? He can’t do that job now. Poor bloke.
