@EssendonPride1 Yeah he lacks a bit of polish at the moment but certainly is capable of bursting and accelerating.

In what way could Melbourne based clubs not offer the lifestyle he had in Brisbane?
Reading between the lines ‘not being recognised everywhere he went because his city is not 100% AFL-mad’ was the attractive bit of the Brisbane lifestyle. Not something Melb can really offer.

Sure, that was the excuse that was rolled out at times…
He doesn’t live in Brisbane, he lives on the coast in Northern NSW. He drove 2hrs+ each way to get to training. There are plenty of small towns on the coast within 2hrs drive of Tulla.

Daniher himself said the whole “getting out of Melbourne” thing was overstated.
I still don’t blame him for leaving though. Looking at the club over the last 15+ years I don’t see how anyone could.

Just watched this now but our academy kid Ahmad abdallah is there for strathmore too, kicked 3 goals. He looks a bit like huss, short stockie, but is quicker. I did hear he was best on, but you’d know better if you were there live.
So we had 4 academy and father son prospects in that one game.

Hey mate yeah I’ve seen him a couple of times. Very good mover in traffic. Manages to avoid getting tackled.
He’s in our academy is he? The latest list only includes 16 year olds and up.
I was told he is, but if he’s not in the list maybe not. Unless he was 15 at the time of the list which is definitely possible.
