Father Son Watch (2017 onwards)

stumbled across a young fella called Jack Calthorpe, plays school footy. Yep, David’s (92 games) boy but ineligible for us.

Tom Caracella’s school team has a bye,

As above, Koby not playing with Calder

AND just to tease a little more, Jemma Bewick (yep, little sister/daughter has been selected in the Essendon District Football League interleave squad at under 14 level

Well, I look forward to the day I get to watch Jack streaming towards goal giving it a roost from 50 straight out on the full playing for someone else.

Jacob Lloyd kicked a goal as his U14s side got a dominant win in grading
Tom Caracella kicked another 2 goals and was named in the bests for his club side’s 18s win

I was reading that sentence with a smile on my face thinking you were recreating the goal he kick in the GF. Then you went negative.

Is Caracella playing for the Falcons?

he is on the Falcons development list and is 2027 eligible. Playing school football, I doubt we see him much at Talent League level

Lol I feel like there was at least 1 out on the full from 50 for every goal.

AFL never contacted me, just stole my idea

Might be a bigger watch on Tom Caracella than what ive given credit too, a small snippet from a code sports article online during the week

St Joseph’s Geelong is littered with father-son prospects. Tom Caracella, who is the son of three-club AFL man Blake and is eligible to Essendon as a father-son, is a bottom-age key forward on the Falcons list who has also shown plenty at ACC level as a key forward and strong mark

Well I do walk my dog on their oval, and he loves eating all the discarded sandwiches.

Rylan Johnson (Jason’s boy) has been included in the Essendon District Under 15, division 2 interleague squad

He’s very good. Stands out amongst juniors. Just looks better all round - more powerful, more clean, kicks with pop.

inside mid from what I understand? any more deeper thoughts on him?

Do you reckon he’ll be there in person, via zoom or more of a 50/50 job?
